Dear all,

In line with the latest announcements from the First Minister and Prime Minister, we have deferred the timeline for people to start returning to offices to 2 August 2021.

We know this will come as disappointment to those of you who had planned to start coming back in July, however we hope you understand the change following the announcements delaying the lifting of restrictions.

Office re-opening roadmap

A limited and flexible return to the workplace will begin the 2nd of August, with a blend of working from home and the office in line with working agreement with your line manager. The second phase will start in September with the assumption that all adults will be fully vaccinated and social distancing reduced to 1m+. We are aiming for all teams to gradually return in some capacity by the end of 2021 with approved working patterns. An assessment of working patterns will occur at each phase.

Please find the timeline/roadmap for returning to the office here.

If you are returning to the office, each of the below is required before your return:

  • Completion of COVID-19 induction
  • Completion of the return to the office protocol
  • Approval by your line manager of your working pattern at each phase

'New normal' ways of working remain high priority in the business' consideration and communications around this will be ongoing.

The Task Force continues to monitor the situation and will update if anything changes.

If you have any questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the taskforce at zzRM-COVID-19@ascoworld.com
