Early Careers Programmes
Graduate Program
When you join the ASCO Graduate Programme you will be offered development and progression to help you achieve your full potential alongside further education opportunities. Each graduate will be appointed a mentor from the business supported by representatives from our HR and Training teams to enable continued development of skills and experience.

Why should you apply?
As an ASCO Graduate you will be given real responsibilities to gain experience across different parts of our organisation, along with the opportunity to work on live projects allowing you to actively contribute to our business and its success. The programme also offers the potential to become a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Who should apply?
We look for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with the desire to learn and aptitude to work hard.
You should be qualified at Honours level in a relevant subject, and can include applicants with existing work experience.
We offer graduate opportunities at our sites in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Great Yarmouth.
Modern Apprenticeships
For the past 5 years ASCO has offered Modern Apprentices to study SVQ 3 Business Administration or SVQ 3 Logistics Operations Management. After the 2-year Apprentice Scheme, each Modern Apprentice will receive a permanent role within the business.
Graduate Apprenticeships
The Graduate Apprenticeships (GAs) in partnership with Robert Gordon University are designed around the needs of business and industry, and allows employees to continue to work while they earn their degree over the course of up to four years.
Foundation Apprenticeships
ASCO offers Foundation Apprentices for S5 and S6 School pupils which allows them to attend a work placement one day a week to help build their Apprentice Portfolio. The placement lasts for 30 weeks and can be within any office-based team.
Existing Staff - We can also offer a Modern Apprenticeships to existing members of staff.

ASCO lifestyle
Helping colleagues along the way
Our number one priority is to look after our staff and their well-being. For many years the ASCO Lifestyle team have received confidential requests for support on behalf of colleagues who are experiencing difficult circumstances. The reasons for requests vary greatly and the Lifestyle team make it their mission to donate to private appeals, organise spa treatments or nights away for colleagues suffering from serious illnesses, arrange for flower deliveries or donations to colleagues who experience a tragic loss.
