Global logistics, materials and operations management specialist ASCO has appointed Ole Kjetil Borsheim as Managing Director of its Norwegian operations. The appointment comes as ASCO continues to grow across energy and expand into sectors including metals, industrial manufacturing and renewables.
Borsheim, who has been with ASCO for more than seven years and currently serves as Operations Director, will take up the role on 1 October 2026, succeeding Runar Hatletvedt, who has led the business in Norway for more than 20 years.
Hatletvedt will remain with ASCO, taking on the wider role of Managing Director Continental Europe, with a focus on business development, growth and new opportunities across the region. He will also remain a member of the Board of Directors of ASCO Norway and ASCO Group.
Hatletvedt said: “Ole Kjetil brings a deep understanding of our customers, our operations and the markets we serve, and he has played an important role in the development of the business. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable as he leads our Norwegian operations into their next chapter.
“After more than 20 years as Managing Director, I am also looking forward to taking that experience into a broader role, identifying new opportunities for ASCO and supporting our continued growth across Continental Europe.”

Headquartered in Tananger, ASCO’s Norwegian operation employs around 300 people across six locations and generates annual revenue of approximately NOK 1.2 billion, making it a significant part of ASCO Group’s international business.
Building on its long-established position within oil and gas logistics and materials management, ASCO is continuing to broaden its presence across critical industries. The company’s takeover of terminal operations for Alcoa in Mosjøen on 1 June 2025 marked an important milestone in this strategy, demonstrating ASCO’s ability to expand its services beyond its traditional markets.
