World Environment Day is held annually on the 5th of June to celebrate our environment and promote ways to reduce our environmental impact. Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) since 1973, the event has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach, with millions of people from across the world engaging to help protect our planet.

The 2023 campaign, #BeatPlasticPollution, looks to address the pressing issue of plastic pollution and stimulate solutions and actions to tackle this environmental crisis. There are many things we can do as individuals to help out, and what better way to start your personal journey of making a difference than for World Environment Day. You can find out more about plastic pollution and ways to help reduce plastic waste on the UN website here.

With Sustainability as one of our core obsessions, we are working hard on our pledge to become a net zero greenhouse gas emissions business before 2040 and are proud of our achievements so far. We are actively working with our clients and partners to transition to low-carbon solutions, reduce waste, transform the supply chain and reach our goals.

We have taking steps to reduce plastic pollution, including using all-paper jiffy bags, swapping to self-adhesive paper tape, and removing the need for shrink wrapping through reusable packaging.
