Sandnessjøen

Developed in 2008/9 to support the offshore oil industry, Horvnes is the newest harbour and industrial area in Sandnessjøen. Featuring 40,000m² of external storage and three public quays, this modern facility has supported critical drilling operations at the Skarv-field since January 2010, and operations at Skarv FPSO since August 2011.

We have also delivered a strategic advantage to TotalEnergies(Alve Nord), BG (Gullris), RWE DEA (Sverdrup), NORECO (Verdande) and Repsol (Stordal).

In 2015, we were awarded the Equinor logistics contract for their base operations in Sandnessjøen. This included all Norne FPSO drilling operations, followed in April 2018 by Aasta Hansteen Spar and all logistics services for their new subsea facilities. The base was also awarded the Subsea 7 logistics contract, and was one of three companies awarded the security agreement for the revised Offshore Norway guideline ON-091.
