ASCO Fuel & Lubricants received the first parcel of 1750 tonnes of Saraline 185V base oil in October from the MV Stoltz Jaeger for Shrieve products.
ASCO is the largest shoreside supplier of Fuel & Lubricants to the UK offshore industry. ASCO offers a UK wide delivery service which is fulfilled from its dedicated warehouses and tank storage facilities across the country, which provide both packed and bulk capability tailored to customer requirements.
Shrieve is a global supplier of specialist lubricants and performance fluids across a wide range of industries. They moved their North Sea base oil storage and distribution from Dundee to ASCO Fuel and Lubricants storage facility at Sinclair Road in Aberdeen, where the product will be stored in a 2000 tonne tank and exported to vessels and plants via road from the storage facility.
The product was produced in Qatar before being shipped to storage in Rotterdam then loaded onto the tanker and shipped to Aberdeen.
