Currently based at our Peterhead supply base in the UK, Felicia Omaruaye is our Planning and Scheduling Manager. When joining ASCO a little over two years ago, Felicia was tasked with setting up a planning function. From here a structure was created which allowed cost control, resource planning and client negotiation. Felicia now manages the Operations team whilst also planning resources to meet the clients' demand.

Felicia has both a scientific and business background with a master's degree in Engineering and a master's degree in Business Management (MBA). In addition to this she is certified in Project Management and Supply Chain Management.

Starting her career as a Project Planner, then moving to Market Analyst, Felicia has 10 years' experience working within the Energy industry. After which she returned to project management as a Project Analyst and was given the opportunity of working in Supply chain management within materials management and planning.

Day to day Felicia is working on a number of projects, one of which being a forecasting process between the Peterhead and Aberdeen hubs. Reviewing each of the bases current process and looking at how these can be aligned to work better together moving forward.

What attracted you to ASCO?

Supply Chain and Logistics which is ASCO's core business. I have always worked within Supply chain and was given the opportunity of working as a Planning and Scheduling Manager with a task of setting up a planning function which included the team, systems and processes.

What is it you enjoy most about your role?

I enjoy the fact that my role is quite challenging, and this has made my job very interesting and engaging. And what is more rewarding is that I can see the improvements made as a result of work I have carried out within my role.

Would you say you live by the ASCO culture?

I live by ASCO's safety culture not just while I'm at work, but this also transcends into my personal life as safety is a big part how we run our home. In ASCO we believe in treating each other fairly and with respect. Within my team this is one of the cultures we live by as we work in a high-pressured environment which if not managed, can lead to individuals feeling unappreciated and overwhelmed. We therefore ensure we are fair and respectful in the way we deal with each other.

How would you describe ASCO in a few words?

Growth, Innovation, Opportunities

What's the best concert you have ever been to?

Wyclef Jean - he was amazing!
