Peter joined ASCO as Chief Executive Officer in October 2018 having previously been CEO of Rotork plc, the industry-leading manufacturer of flow control equipment in the Oil and Gas sector, where he worked for 29 years across many different roles. Looking forward to the exciting future ahead, Peter is delighted to be a part of it.
Fraser is a qualified lawyer and notary public holding LLB and LLM Masters degrees. Fraser is responsible for all legal, property and insurance matters across the Group and is also the Company Secretary.
Fraser Stewart joined ASCO in January 2001 as part of the Graduate training programme and since then has served in a number of progressively senior roles in the company. In 2007, Fraser relocated to Calgary to lead ASCO's growth efforts in Alberta, before moving in to the role of Strategic Development Director for the Americas Region. A return to the UK in 2013 saw Fraser play a central role in establishing ASCO's global consultancy capability, including serving as Senior Consultant on client projects in Alaska, Norway, Canada and the UK. In 2015 he was appointed Director - Strategy, Marketing and Tendering for ASCO Group and in 2018 to the role of Group Commercial Director. Fraser is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Allan has over 15 years experience in supporting companies across the Oil & Gas industry and has brought a strategic focus to inventory and materials. This is delivering value in transforming clients supply chain practices from systems, processes, technology to people.
Runar joined ASCO Norge in 2006 as Managing Director for Northern Europe and has been instrumental in developing ASCO’s Norwegian business over the past 12 years. Runar holds degree qualifications in Logistics Management, Business, Marketing and Economics.
Steve Mitchell joined ASCO in September 2018 having previously worked with Maersk Oil, Total, Kerr-McGee, Chevron and Oryx Energy. Steve has over 35 years of Oil and Gas experience and has held a number of Leadership roles in Operations, Process Safety, Projects and Procurement & Supply Chain Management on both a local and international basis.
Marianne is currently Group Financial Controller & Mergers and Acquisitions Director after holding the role of Group Finance Manager since September 2013 and more recently as Interim Group CFO. Before joining ASCO, Marianne held the role of Director of Transaction Services for a Big 4 accounting and professional services provider, where she was engaged in financial due diligence roles for over 15 years.
Glenn started with Wood in 1984 which was then bought over by ASCO in August 1997 working in different roles across Great Yarmouth, Aberdeen and Houston, Texas over 7 years. After moving on in 2004 to work in further Oil and Gas services across Houston for 7 years. Glenn then moved back to ASCO in 2011 bringing with him new experience in International Business and Project Management.
Nicola joined ASCO in 2014 as HR Operations Manager for the UK and is now our Group HR Director. Nicola has worked in HR for over 15 years in a variety of roles and sectors, bringing a broad range and depth experience to the business.
Gary is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in the oil & gas industry and joined ASCO in March 2020. He has previously worked in a number of senior leadership roles at Petroleum Engineering Services, Halliburton and KCA Deutag. Gary has considerable experience working in private equity owned businesses and helping to drive business strategy and direction.
