Read articleWe have been operating and finding solutions for our customers in the UK for over 50 years. Our roots are in Aberdeen, where we launched in 1967 and continue to operate several quaysides and warehouses on behalf of our customers. Our group headquarters building is based in Dyce, Aberdeen and houses key business services departments as well as our leadership team.
Our flagship, wholly owned supply base facility in Peterhead was opened in 1974 and remains the world’s busiest private offshore support facility, handling in the region of 460,000 tonnes of deck cargo and 450,000 tonnes of fuel/water each year across 2,050 vessel turnarounds.
Our operations in Great Yarmouth was our first venture outside of the North East of Scotland and enabled us to offer our services across the North Sea. The facilities in Great Yarmouth, support the predominantly gas market in the offshore Southern North Sea sector.
ASCO secured the contract at Steel River Quay, on the south bank of the River Tees, Teesside, in 2024, which involves planning, scheduling, and day-to-day operations, as well as providing stevedoring services. These efforts will be focused on the South Bank site, with access to the dedicated Steel River Quay, designed and developed to serve the offshore sector.
