Delegate Pre-Requities
A letter from the current employer recommending delegates for LCP assessment including references to supervisory and command and control capabilities, as well as confirming their relevant experience. Knowledge and experience should include;
- LOLER, PUWER and HASAWA regulations
- Safe Systems of Work
- Assessment of personnel
- Management of personnel
- The inspection of lifting equipment and the concept of discard criteria
- Safe use of lifting equipment
- The management of rigging lofts
- The planning of lifting operations
- Risk assessment
