COVID-19

Dear all,

We are conscious that the longer the pandemic goes on the more challenging it can be to remain positive and motivated.

We need to work together to make sure that we all continue to stay safe.

Social Distancing

It has come to our attention that there are some scenario's where social distancing controls are not being adhered to in the workplace.

It is everyone's responsibility to make sure that the rules are followed, in line with our new lifesaving rule:

Social Distancing

Adhere to local social distancing requirements wherever possible

  • I maintain safe distancing from others to prevent the spread of coronavirus
  • I understand social distancing requirements and apply them in my work area
  • I apply risk controls to tasks where social distancing cannot be achieved

Intentional failure to abide by the rules will be addressed.

Hand hygiene also remains essential, and you should make sure that you are washing your hands regularly throughout the day with soap and hot water. Hand sanitiser is available in all locations.

Flu vaccinations

With cold and flu season in sight there may be some challenge in distinguishing between the symptoms of cold, flu and Covid-19, therefore it could be beneficial to get the flu vaccination. Although the flu vaccine will not protect you against Covid-19 it may help to reduce the likelihood of you getting the flu. You may wish to contact your local health care provider or pharmacy for details of if, and how, you can arrange to be vaccinated.

Working from Home

If you are continuing to work from home due to restrictions in your region, and are finding it difficult to do so, please speak to your line manager in the first instance.

Where it is considered that a return to the workplace would be beneficial for your wellbeing, this request will be passed to the task force for consideration. No-one should return to the workplace without the awareness, and agreement of, the task force.

If you have any queries or concerns, please get in touch with the task force by emailing zzRM-COVID-19@ascoworld.com or your local HR team.

We are very focused on doing all that we can to make sure everyone is safe. Please continue to work with us to make sure this happens.

Take care and stay safe,

The Taskforce Team
