COVID-19

Dear all,

We are aware of increased Covid-19 cases in several locations where ASCO operates including Trinidad, the lockdown of the Victoria area in Australia and lockdown restrictions re-imposed in Aberdeen, Scotland due to a coronavirus cluster in the city.

The virus is still very much prevalent, and it is essential that we all continue to take precautions and remain vigilant. We cannot let complacency creep in.

Our primary focus is to protect each of you and your families while ensuring the safe continuity of our business and service to our clients. This requires both individual and collective responsibility.

COVID-19 Global operational procedures and protocols remain the same, as previously advised, and we expect the following steps to be followed while you are present at any ASCO site:

Compliance to social distancing and good health and hygiene practices.

  • Wearing a face covering when social distancing cannot be achieved.
  • If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, ensure you inform your Supervisor and do not report for work in line with your local guidance.
  • If you develop COVID-19 symptoms while at work inform your Supervisor, self-isolate in the designated isolation area and await further advice from your Supervisor or HSSEQ. Your Supervisor will advise you where the isolation area is on your site.
  • You are also expected to ensure that all visitors and third parties adhere to all protocols while on our sites.

Return to the workplace from furlough or working from home protocols must be followed.

Please follow this guidance and consider your safety - and the safety of others - at all times.

If you have any queries or concerns, please email zzRM-COVID-19@ascoworld.com

Kind regards,

The Task Force Team
