Overview
This course trains drivers to safely transport Dangerous Goods and sit exams to obtain an ADR license. It is run on behalf of the Department of Transport.
The course covers Core, Practical, Packages, Tanks and all classes of Dangerous Goods:
- Class 1: Explosives
- Class 2: Gases
- Class 3: Flammable liquids
- Class 4: Flammable solids, spontaneously combustibles, dangerous when wet material
- Class 5: Oxidisers and organic peroxides
- Class 6 : Toxic and infectious substances
- Class 7: Radioactives
- Class 8: Corrosives
- Class 9: Miscellaneous dangerous goods
Content Information
PRICE: £445
EXAM FEE: £20 per exam sat
CPC UPLOAD: £8.75 per day (up to 35 hours periodic training available by attending)
DURATION: Course is 5 days duration with extra days for specialised training of Class 1 and class 7
CERTIFICATE: ADR Driver Training Certificate issued by the Department of Transport
CRITERIA: No pre-requisites
LOCATION: This course delivered at our training centre, but can be delivered at a client’s premises.
