Structure

The course combines theoretical learning activities, lift planning exercises, practical slinging activities and supervised lifting operations. 

PPE required

Coveralls, hard hat, safety boots and gloves

Updates on current legislation and regulations (LOLER etc.)

HSE guidance / safety requirements

Planning rigging operations and risk assessment

Practical lifting exercises

Written assessment

Who will benefit

Delegates who are involved in any type of rigging or lifting operations, whose certification or competence requires refresher training.

Note

This course is physically demanding. Delegates are recommended to take towels and a change of clothes as shower facilities are available.
