Global logistics, materials and operations management specialist ASCO has been accredited as a Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) training and testing provider, expanding the range of industry-recognised qualifications it can deliver across critical industries including construction, utilities and energy.
ASCO is now the only accredited CPCS training and testing provider in Aberdeen, giving customers access to nationally recognised competence pathways backed by decades of practical lifting operations experience in complex, high-risk environments.
Alongside Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) accreditations, CPCS further broadens ASCO’s training and competence offering. Customers can now access a wider range of recognised training and assessment routes through ASCO, helping ensure personnel have the skills, competence and certification required to work safely and effectively on site.
Claire Buchan, Business Development Manager for Specialist Services, said:
“For critical industries which rely on safe lifting operations, having people trained, tested and ready to work is essential. We aim to support customers in developing and demonstrating the competence required to work across key sectors. These accreditations reflect our team’s commitment to strengthening our capability and completing the rigorous verification processes required to deliver this.”
