We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a fully qualified LGV Class 2 Driver to operate on a Monday–Friday dayshift schedule out of our Peterhead site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles in a safe and effective manner, minimising the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property
- Adhere to all ASCO policies and procedures
- Perform daily safety and vehicle maintenance checks through the Driver App
- Advise the Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored
- Ensure loads are correctly secured and weight distribution does not exceed permitted limits
- Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations, where required
- Accept, start and complete all relevant deliveries and collections using the Transport Management System (TMS) via the ASCO App on the vehicle phone
- Ensure signatures are obtained through the ASCO App as proof of delivery
- Complete all relevant delivery and collection documentation accurately
- Ensure all loads are transported and delivered safely and efficiently
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers, colleagues and other road users
Qualifications:
- LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
