  • Support resolution of contract wording issues in line with governance and risk appetite.
  • Coordinate with Legal on post-award clarifications where required.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate contract records, version control and audit trails.
  • Promote a consistent contractual approach across business units.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Law, Business, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in energy logistics, offshore oil & gas, offshore wind/renewables, defence/government contracting, or engineering/industrial services.

Minimum Competencies:

  • Strong ability to review and negotiate client terms and conditions, including liability, indemnity, pricing, and service-related provisions.
  • Knowledge of LOGIC, NEC, defence/MOD frameworks, and bespoke client contract models.

  • Skilled in drafting contract amendments, clarifications, and qualification documents.
  • Effective communicator, able to influence and engage both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of commercial governance and contract law principles.
