Our state-of-the-art Waste Transfer and Treatment centre in Great Yarmouth plays an important role in our waste management provision, handling large volumes of waste from multiple clients across various sectors. We are proud to deliver the most sustainable solutions available to our clients with a 'zero waste to landfill' policy for non-hazardous general wastes.
The site handles over 200 tonnes of hazardous waste (oils, chemicals, paints, greases) each week and can process over 200 different waste types from hazardous and non-hazardous waste and oil-based mud slops to general waste. The waste is either treated onsite or packed into bulk and transferred to one of our 200+ approved partners for onward disposal or recycling or reuse.
The site features multiple bulk storage tanks where we can store oil, diesel, and dirty waters. We are also in the process of installing ship to shore facilities for handling offshore waste directly at the quayside, which will increase efficiency and reduce vessel turnaround times.
Due to the processing capability, the site has the ideal layout for sorting and recycling waste materials to achieve a greater recycling efficiency and has been rated as 'Excellent' by regulatory authorities. Our dedicated technical support team of waste management professionals is available to handle all waste queries.
Our digitalised processing system presents waste management data in a format recognised by regulatory bodies while assisting our clients in understanding the waste production process. By providing reliable information, we help our customers fully utilise the waste hierarchy.
