ASCO is the exclusive provider of quayside management services at Steel River Quay, part of the Teesworks complex. The newly constructed 450-metre heavy lift quay is tailored to support the offshore energy sector with a mixed laydown area.
ASCO's comprehensive range of services encompasses quayside planning and scheduling, operations coordination, vessel scheduling, stevedoring, materials management, environmental services, and internal distribution.

The Steel River Quay project is anticipated to generate up to 65 local direct jobs at the port, with ASCO providing necessary training to ensure all staff meet its high standards for quayside operations. This contract will bolster the local supply chain and regional employment opportunities, creating hundreds of indirect jobs. Teesworks is being developed as an integrated energy hub, incorporating new energy projects such as hydrogen, Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), and offshore wind, including monopile manufacturing by SeAH Wind.
