World Environment Day on the 5th of June is the biggest international day to celebrate the environment. Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and held annually since 1973, the event has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach, with millions of people from across the world engaging to protect the planet.
The 2022 campaign #OnlyOneEarth calls for collective and transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet. There are many things we can do as individuals to help our environment, and what better way to start your personal journey of making a difference than for World Environment Day.
