Dear all,
While a number of us will be taking some annual leave, we would like to remind you that personnel travelling into or returning to the UK may be required to self-isolate for 14 days in accordance with the current UK quarantine requirements. The UK and Scottish governments have published a list of countries which are exempt from the 14-day quarantine restrictions. However, countries and territories can be taken off or added to this exempt list at any time.
If you plan any holidays or travels overseas, stay up to date with the guidelines and please refer to the Overseas Working & Travel During COVID-19 Pandemic GOP on Connect.
People who test positive for Coronavirus or show symptoms (a new continuous cough, a temperature or loss of taste or smell) in the UK must now self-isolate for at least 10 days, rather than seven.
If you test negative, you must be free of fever for at least 48 hours before returning to work.
If you test negative and have no symptoms, there is no requirement to self-isolate and you can return to work.
If you have any queries regarding this, please get in touch with your line manager or email zzRM-COVID-19@ascoworld.com
Enjoy your well-deserved time off, take care and stay safe,
The Task Force Team
