Dear all, Due to the new Omicron variant, NHS Scotland is rolling out the coronavirus booster vaccine programme as a priority. We strongly encourage you to get your COVID-19 vaccination booster if you have not done so already, this will help extend the protection you gained from your first two doses and give you longer term protection. Like some other vaccines, levels of protection may begin to reduce over time. You can get the booster dose any time at least 3 months (12 weeks) after your second dose and it will help reduce the risk of you needing to go to hospital due to coronavirus this winter.
